ABOUT THE BOOKS:

t h o u g h t s  was written during an interesting time in my life. We were living semi-nomadically in an RV in the summers, while learning how to farm organically.

The connection I felt with the land and growing my own food opened me up in a way I was not expecting. Our families were growing at this time as well - babies were being born, and long-lost family members were being reunited. It was a time of expansion.

Through all of this, I experienced somewhat of an ego death: the release of a known identity, and my journal served as an outlet that helped me anchor my practice through these changes.

Jakoby and I were caring for the family's 13-year-old dog, Brewtus, at the time as well, who was approaching the end of his life. As we were in this headstrong era of eating and growing organic, only using natural products, and making everything we could ourselves, we chose to have Brewtus pass naturally at home. Through this experience, I was able to connect with death in the most intimate way I had consciously yet seen.

As luck would have it, I just so happened to be curious about writing my own book at the time, and saw everything that was happening as an opportunity.

t h o u g h t s  is spread out amongst 3 books, and they each represent the difference phases of this experience. Book 1 is the initiation, the invitation into the new world. Fears are surfacing, curiosity is heightened, trust is strong. Book 2 is a deep-dive; time moves slow, psychic senses are awake and space is created between thoughts. Book 3 is the finale, the closing. Physical cues, poetic hues. It speaks to the mind-body-spirit connection.

It was a time & space that just so happened to be written and put into book form. It's artsy, it's emotional, it's cool.

If you are more of a hard copy type of reader,  t h o u g h t s  part 1 is available here on our website, and the others are available on Amazon (soon to be up here as well).
