Naturally Grown
Medicinal from the start
Everything on our farm is naturally grown, using hand tools and time-tested methods. We use compost and cover crops to build soil, and animals & insects to help with material breakdown and fertilizers. We use organic products that we either create ourselves on site (such as compost), or purchase from reputable certified organic sources.
These natural growing methods are supportive to the human body, as they are free from synthetic chemicals, which are known for deregulating almost all the systems in the body. They are also light on the earth, reducing compaction, which is a common issue with large-scale tractor farming.
We love all farmers and support our fellow growers, organic or not. Our choice to grow organically is validated by the positive effects we have seen within our own bodies.
Rich soil for rich tea
Any gardener knows the secret to a healthy garden is in the soil. Nutrient dense soil leads to nutrient dense crops. We apply our natural compost and fertilizers to the soil with this intention.
Cozy, caffeine-free
Whether you're enjoying moon blend for its medicinal properties, or as part of your daily tea ritual, may it uplift your spirit, regulate your vibration and encourage a positive present moment.
a note on herb safety
Moderation
Like any herbal concoction, moderation is key. For most people, moon blend is a wonderful tea that can be drank daily.
Pregnancy & Postpartum
Most medicinal herbs are inadvisable during pregnancy, due to potential uterine stimulation and contractions. This is the case with lavender tea. Drinking lavender tea is not recommended during pregnancy, which means moon blend should not be consumed during pregnancy.
A lot of the time, there just isn't sufficient (or any) research on using these herbs during pregnancy, so they will get labelled as "unsafe during pregnancy", for good measure.
Some herbs, like raspberry leaf, have been used in holistic medicine for centuries to assist with pregnancy and childbirth, acting as a uterine tonic. These herbs are used at specific times during pregnancy, and under supervision.
Always do your research and trust your body.
Signs to stop
All the ingredients in moon blend are considered some of the safest among medicinal herbs; it is unlikely for a reaction to occur. That being said, if you experience any sort of irritation or sensitivity to moon blend, please cease consumption.
If you experience any of the following, stop drinking moon blend immediately & seek professional medical attention:
tingling, itching or swelling of the lips, mouth, tongue, throat or face
hives or an itchy red rash
difficulty breathing
These reactions are highly unlikely, but it is important to be aware of them for good practice.
