Rare, one-of-a-kind piece made from Persian Silk (AKA Mimosa) Wood! Mimosa trees are typically grown ornamentally in Windsor-Essex County, and this tree in particular would have gotten to quite a large size to make a bowl of this scale. Great, unique salad bowl - will hold a medium size salad.
