sun, rain or snow.. to the market we shall go

Updated: Oct 26, 2021

ohh market day

the day of all days

a whirlwind of days

the ‘little bit of everything’ day

it uplifts you

it wears you down

it excites you

it loves you

it is a grind

if you want it to be

there are different intentions at the market

some are grinding it for their small business

some are there for their social wellbeing

some fall somewhere in between

doesn’t really matter where you are

there’s space for everyone

everyone is needed

it makes it real

there’s real shit going on at the market

real people with real lives

there’s no sugar coating it

it’s refreshing

wholesome

true

i appreciate the market

and the market appreciates me

it can be a bit of a headfuck at times

during the week leading up to market

rachel & i laugh at how every week it seems to all of a sudden be friday again..

the way we do markets right now is a grind

i know it doesn’t always have to be this way

it’s a lot

it’s a lot of beautiful & magical stuff

it’s a lot of frustrating & exhausting stuff

it shows you where you’re at, ha that’s for sure

i’m grateful for the people🙌

the people are my favourite

all sorts of people

with stories

.. okay wait it’s not just the people.. i also love the goodies everyone brings

like today i totally treated myself💁‍♀️

candles, soaps, cards

people bring these beautiful creations & you’re making your own money there so it kinda feels free in a weird way haha

it’s so fun

vendor friends are the best

just a buncha beauties

bustin’ their business booties

selling themselves

all day

explaining

re-explaining

teaching

sharing

selling

laughing

joking

uplifting

vendor to vendor relationships

ugh 🙏 so good

some are hilarious

some are hilariously awkward

some are constructive

some are short & sweet

some are pure love

all are insightful

all are welcome

grateful to be a part of it

Market madness

Round & round

Wild wind

Tent (almost) blows down

🌬
