Okay I have roughly 10 mins on the clock.. baking honey pumpkin muffins.. enough time to write a little about the new house.
K wait first off, dis house ain’t new.. it was built sometime during the first half of the 1900’s, with an addition during the 70’s.
Today we finished painting the kitchen & dining area. These two spaces were some of the roughest in the house so it’s wild to see where they’re now at. They already have totally different vibes & I forget we did it so quick!
Like this has all happened so fast.. this whole process.. getting a phone call about this place (a place we’ve been daydreaming & drooling over for the last 5 years), going to see it, falling madly in love, sorting paperwork, signing the lease, getting the keys & now setting up our little nest.
Shit, you blink & you’re already doing it.
Anyways, we got real excited about paint
(brb muffins ready!)
Dark colours everywhere
Lots of white too, but bold dark colours
ou so fun
Kay-Dee, the paint expert at Home Hardware is legit, she helped us out mucho. There happened to be a shipment of surplus paint, so we got all the cans 30% off 🤘
It’s been fun. I enjoy doing renos & painting with my love. Feeling much gratitude & inspiration🥰

I made pumpkin purée by roasting two whole pumpkins in the oven & then letting them cool/sit for a day.. it was so easy to scoop out the seeds & peel the skin off.. and the meat pureed nicely
The flavour that came through is caramelized & sweet 🙌
