January Update:

Hello and Happy New Year! We have had a fantastic start to the season, feeling much motivation and excitement to grow all the beautiful things!

We took a lil break from everything to focus on home/family life & it was a swell time. Now, we are back in action on the farm. Our current project: setting up the chicken coop!!

Yes folks, we are getting chickens!! We are so excited, wow. We are animal people itellya, I love being around animals. Animals teach me so much about communication. It has been a wonderful (and at times, frustrating) experience learning how to communicate clearly with our pooch.

I do feel Kai, Jakoby and I have started to communicate on different levels lately.

When I want Kai to do something, I'll try to send her the request silently via telepathy. Sometimes a one-word command helps, but she's constantly reading my energy so I feel like if my intention is clear and strong, she can pick that up. My job is to also listen for her requests, because they are (for the most part) silent.

Similarly, Jakoby and I relay messages to each other without using words.

It's fun.

Reading each other's vibe.

I am excited to see what the chickens have to say.

Being around animals also brings laughter. Gosh, we laugh so much more with Kai in our life. She brings a sense of play to our tribe.
