celebrating freedom

I thank those before me who made decisions to give future generations a better life. That’s what we all want, right? To create space for the next generation to step into their fullest potential. To remove unnecessary limitations for those to come. I am grateful those before me did so, and I hope I can do the same for those who come after me.

We live in a time of opportunity, where true freedom is possible. Our ancestors cannot say the same. Perhaps some of them lived truly free lives.. for freedom is a mindset. One’s environment and upbringing definitely play a part, but ultimate freedom comes from within. There are many living today who have the most freedom their family tree has ever experienced, yet their minds keep them imprisoned; shackled to the past, fearing the future. It is a dark place to be, but we all have the choice to break free of our chains and celebrate our freedom.

So today, I celebrate my freedom. With good food, plentiful rest, playful expression, and gratitude for this life.

May we fully embody worthiness.
