Ah the sweet sight of a sleeping puppy
If you told me a year ago that in a mere 52 weeks I’d be chilling on a homestead with a puppy, I would have said “Well, yeah! That’s what I’m manifesting!”
not.. I wouldn’t have believed it
Even though this has all been intentionally worked towards, I had no idea or expectation that it would play out this way, or that it would happen this quick!
“The homestead” always felt like a future thing, something we’d work towards & eventually get to. And although we have continuously worked towards this, I never expected to feel like “oh! I’m here!”
Ya ya Jess, we get it. What’s your point?
It’s never going to play out how you think it’s going to, but it’s definitely playing.
So let’s play

K so yeah Kai has fleas. We haven’t seen any on her, but she has a lot of bites that get itchy & cause her quite some discomfort.
The first day I was like omg i ain’t qualified for dis.
But day 2, I saw it from a more holistic perspective. It’s not just fleas, it’s all of it. All of her. All of us. All of this.
So let’s balance this.
We’re taking a medical & herbal combo approach. Some puppy flea meds, some vinegar sprays, some herbal sponge baths & a chamomile tea with the intention to soothe her inflammation from the inside out.
It’s wild
It’s raw
It’s real
It’s amazing
It’s heart opening
It’s exactly what I need in my life
I luv dis bitch
In garden news,
All our cool-loving crops have found homes in the nursery. Jakoby has set up a barrel w/ a sub-pump to water the seedlings w/ rain water. He’s talking about setting up our solar system to run the pump.

I’ve learned a lot from this little flea bag in three days
#1. Let go of control
Just drop it
You can’t control anything
So take a deep breath & let it go
Let it go
#2. You can’t help someone heal if you take on their suffering
Feeling/feeding into it = taking it on
#3. Be extra patient
Be gentle with each other
We’re all starting anew, we’re all helping each other rise
#4. Play
Play lots
Play fetch
Run on the beach
Kai loves the beach and so do I
Im excited to go swimming together
Today was the first day I walked barefoot around the property. I said to Jakoby on the beach “my feet feel like they’ve been in boots all winter!”
Ready to strengthen them
Crushed shells & sharp puppy teeth
We’re doing it
It ain’t perfect
It’s messy
But we are doing it

Here’s a little ditty I wrote last night about releasing resistance..
I do not hold resistance
You can’t possibly hold resistance
That’s what creates the dis-balance
Trying to hold it
You can’t hold anything
Maybe for a sec
But not much longer
I hold no resistance
I no hold
I flow
Inflow
