it was a full on day

lots of digging

pulling

lifting

lugging

the body is worked

feels good though.. like really good

excited to crawl into bed

i’ve been wanting to write a little bit about RV life, because…

RV life

it’s quite the life

a dirty feet kind of life

where every day is an adventure

where water consumption is mindful

where material possession is minimal

RV life has its ups & downs

it can get messy real fast

it can help you live slow

RV life shows you what’s important

what is necessity

what is functional

there’s a little bit of room for other stuff

like books, crystals & candles

but not much, so don’t overdo it

you get real crafty with your space

totes

baskets

hampers

help carry the load

multi-purpose items/dishes

takes 5 mins to sweep & wash the floor

re-arrange & re-organize regularly

it’s amazing what you collect along the way

RV life is a ‘2 pair of shoes’ kind of life

a ‘can i bum a shower off you?’ kind of life

a ‘it’s been rainy for three days, we’ve run out of solar power & the fridge just shut off’ kind of life

a ‘wow.. the moon’ kind of life

there’s always going to be a storm that scares you

makes you wonder: how windy would it have to be to flip this thing?

there will always be sweltering, sleepless summer nights

there will always be magical sunrises

& starry slumbers

you will always feel connected to nature

because, well, you’re in it

cozy candlelight

dreamy daylight

all sorts of weather

sharing it together
