systems shifting

there are systems shifting
collapsing
changing
the medical system seems like one of the most stable
i suppose covid put it to the test
it wasn't perfect
but we made it through, eh
the agriculture system is right f 'ed
but nature is so damn resilient
and abundant
that i do not worry about
eating
foraging
creating food
the financial system
seems the most unstable to me
i don't know why
but it just feels that way
it has crashed before
(many times)
it seems to be a faster cycle
the internet is a fast cycle
oh yeah
has there ever been an internet-wide crash?
what would that look like?
productive
connective
protective
if we could start all over again
what would we do?
make it simpler
less clutter
use it for truth
an excellent tool
why/how could the internet crash?
too much data, not enough storage?
storage warehouse fire?
how could i blog without the internet?
speak it aloud
sing it
write letters
(postal system is stable)
it wouldn't reach as many people
but that's not what it's about anyway
ou post it on a bulletin board
or in a tiny library
for people to read
at their leisure
at their pace
in their own voice
*
maybe the internet system won't crash
it just feels like it's on that type of trajectory
but i suppose that's just one perspective
some may see it as eternal
because once something has been created
it lives forever
it may permeate the boundary of form & formless
(many times)
but its essence
its sparkle
its 'umph'
is eternal
*
sacrifice
sacrificial energy
"i volunteer as tribute!!!"
noble
i will release control
and allow life to move me,
in order to lighten the load
for others, for loved ones & for myself
maybe the internet will sacrifice itself for the sake of humanity
woah man..
don't be dissin’ the internet
it's pretty chill too
that's true
i've learned & loved a lot here
i like hearing the clicking of typing keys
like the pen's scribe across the paper
bet it was epic hearing a feather write on scroll
i'll find out one day at hogwarts

inquiry:
do you think some of these societal systems we have in place will crash?
or will they slowly shift into new models?
