Holy f, it's getting crazy folks!

There's so much happening; I am moving between states of overwhelm, methodical movement, and pure gratitude. Last night I laid down to meditate and was overcome with such feelings of gratitude, tears were gobbing up in my eyes.

I was thinking about this little space in the kitchen where our compost, garbage & recycling containers can live & how grateful I am to even have a space to set that up in. We've all been there, right? you know.. crying over compost

The feelings were so strong I couldn't help it 🙈

I said to myself today "I am living my dream"

..what a place to be! Feeling fortunate & thankful for this opportunity.

I knew this was all going to happen. I defs didn't know the details, but I knew one day we'd be on our own farm, setting up a little homestead. I had no idea how soon it would be though! It's all happening quick & it has not fully sunk in

Part of this pace is the melting snow & approaching spring seeding bananza! I know the seeds are itching to get cranking, and so are we.. just timing it all out with the move

Normally, we wouldn't be full bore this time of year, we'd be just getting back into the swing of things. But because of the move, we've shifted into higher gears & I tell ya, my body is feeling it!

The first two weeks of farming (any outdoor seasonal work, really.. landscaping etc), the body goes through some major adjustments. It has been hunkering and hanging out all winter, the farming muscles are a little out of practice. But spring = busy, so you work through the muscle soreness each day, and after a couple weeks the body has adjusted.

I have been sleeping like a log <-- where did that expression even come from?

Just looked it up.. it's been around for a while haha. Basically compares the unconscious sleeping human to the shape of a log. Makes sense.

Not much else to write about today. Wiped, ready for bed. We’re getting into the garden tomorrow🙌🙌🙌 excited
