first time finding this fungus🙌
did some research before we ate it
holy heck it’s delicious
holds up to it’s name
we’ll see how the gut feels tonight and how i sleep
i’ve eaten too many mushrooms before & been awake all night with belly aches
so far it feels great
i told Jakoby when i took my first bite, it was like my body remembered it and was like “ou! yes please!”
he said he’s never heard anyone talk the way i do.. thank you?
okay so sautéed the mushroom in a pan until soft. used two forks to pull it into thin strips, like a pulled pork texture
ate it atop stir fry
YUM

they say chicken of the woods is a novice mushroom hunter’s jackpot because it is easily identifiable (partly due to its vibrant yellow orange colour) and because there aren’t any close lookalikes to be wary of
lovely
this idea came to me during dinner, and it could be the orange mushroom talking here, but it has to do with the second chakra
i’ll try to explain clearly
so the second chakra has to do with creating and manifesting, right?
it’s the creation centre
so.. if you have an imbalance in another chakra, could it manifest in the second chakra?
i have read lots of stuff that talk about how an imbalance, let’s say in the heart chakra, can lead to physical symptoms in the heart & surrounding area (example: congestive heart, upper back issues, etc)
but this idea that came to me today was more about that imbalance manifesting itself physically in the second chakra area/gut/low back because that is the manifestation centre
so let’s say you have a stubborn, well-rooted belief in your heart. maybe it manifests physically in your gut because you are continually creating that reality with those belief “impulses”
it shows up as IBS or crohn’s or ovarian cysts, etc.. even though the problem stems from the heart, the gut manifests it
and work on the second chakra alone won’t heal it because that chakra is just the creator of the desire/inspiration
the desire/inspiration stems from the heart
so to release it, you must open the heart chakra
kind of like a 2-in-1
k am i making any sense here?
both chakras must be reconciled
together
you must seek to manifest that which you desire. if you do not listen to your heart’s true calling, your manifestations will be blocked or skewed
which can then lead you further into the pattern of:
not fulfilling your heart’s desires⬇️
⬆️ manifesting a skewed/out-of-alignment reality
it’s a cycle
between the gut and the heart
orange and green
k so that about summarizes the idea
what do you think? does it make sense?
can you see it within your own life?
leave a comment below if you’d like to share
i’m going to keep writing down some notes on my own heart-gut relationship (not sure if this part will make it into the blog) but if you’re interested, read on

when asked a question, or given an option, observe the body.. specifically the heart
it happens immediately
what is the body telling you?
talk openly
This is so perfectly described. Cleansing the body as a whole reaching all Chakras is very important. Sometimes I do not know how to explain this... you did so perfectly. Thank you!
